Did you feel the deep emotionality of the Full Moon on the 14th? It was one of those moments where the deep connection between feelings and spirit was revealed. By following the flow of your feelings you could arrive at how your true self relates emotionally to your outer and inner world in the moment. That gave us also a chance to see what encrusted emotional patterns keep us from this intimate connection with ourselves. Avoiding this process, or a healing of these patterns were both possible. More about the Full Moon and its effects in the next weeks here.
The days after the Full Moon, from 15-23 September, mark a watershed: with the exception of Uranus, all the outer planets and the Moon Nodes change Gates or direction. The way these planets influence our lives and our society is subtly different now. The mood becomes less emotional, more focused on asserting our individuality, advancing our career and perhaps finding new ways to make money.
Pluto had started already on the 11th by moving into Gate 54, Ambition or Getting Ahead. It’s about having success, materially and/or spiritually. Do we want to show off our position in the community, advance ourselves through our contributions (I help you so you help me), or strive to increase well-being for the whole tribe? Pluto brings up these questions in the coming months. Secret deals are also possible. At the end of the month, 27-30 Sept, Pluto has a voice through the Channel of Transformation with Mercury (32-54). Some revolutionary insights or revelations about our economic/monetary system might come out.
Opening of the Warrior Gates
On the 16th, the Moon Nodes change into Gates 39 and 38, with the promising names of Provocation and Opposition. They are the warrior Gates of the Chart, and they both originate in the Root Center. Deep down, it’s the pressure to be ourselves, even if that means provoking or fighting others. Good to stop and look: do we fight with shadows, or even with ourselves, or for a worthy cause? Does stirring up stuck situations solve problems – or create more of them? Some people want to hang on to their misery; it may be good to let them be in that state.
Business opportunities – and some rest
The 22nd is a big day: Jupiter moves into Gate 26, Accumulation, Neptune to 63, Doubt, and Chiron to Gate 25, Innocence. With Jupiter we have access to willpower now, and the desire is to make it count. Still it is advisable to be patient until next month, checking out business opportunities and seeing if the right moment to act upon them has come. Neptune in 63 can disintegrate mental processes, making us feel spaced out – or prone to meditation. Stay present in your body! The Sun, from Sept 27 until Nov 5 in Spleen Gates, can help, because the Spleen focuses on the senses and our physical well-being. Finally, whenever we might feel overcome by inner and outer pressure, Chiron reminds us to come back to the purity and innocence at the core of our heart.
Full Moon on the 14th
A time to allow your feeling to take center stage
In the transits for the first half of this month I talked about a softening influence from Earth, Venus and Neptune. These are all feminine planets, which does not mean they are always ‘soft and sweet’. Perhaps ‘balancing influence’ would be a more fitting expression. At least, during the Full Moon (14 Sept at 6.32 here in Central Europe) there is a powerful wave of feelings coming over us, rising from our feminine side and expressed through the unconscious Sun. We may not know what’s happening to us (or, for those of us who do not give much attention to their feelings, why the others are suddenly so emotional). It’s like a wave coming from behind.
The Center of Emotions is defined for all of us and connected directly to the Throat. This is a direct manifesting Channel, called Openness, which means the feelings that arise in us can and want to be expressed. With Venus and Mercury conjunct in Gate 46, Line 2, ‘the prima Donna’, this can be a moment to take center stage and show yourself as you are, letting yourself be guided by an emotional awareness from your core. True feelings have a way of reconnecting you and the people around you to your real selves, to who you are in this moment. It’s not about showing off or being a drama queen (or king – men have their ways of doing this too), it is being part of and expressing the play of life coming through you. The sacred theater we are all involved in has a chance to be visible now. These are moments filled with wonder.
Of course, Gate 22, where Earth, Moon and Neptune are huddling together, is the Gate of Grace as well as disgrace. With so many exaltations (favorable aspects) present, it is easy to let the charm and natural style of this Gate manifest itself, so that we can also allow others to take the stage, or share it.
Use the two weeks till the New Moon to integrate the Full Moon discoveries into your daily life.
Love your network
The South Moon Nodes, unconscious Saturn and conscious Pluto are all favorably placed in Gate 54, Getting Ahead, indicating that you can have advantageous associations with many people in your life when you relate with them in an honest manner. They are willing to help you.
So, during this Full Moon, send some good thoughts to your family, your friends, colleagues, clients, business partners, maybe even your president (if you have a connection of integrity). You can get more practical too in the days after, until the New Moon on the 28th.
