Trends in january 2025
Mars goes backward
Mars is still retrograde, now in Gates 56 and 62. Both are in the Throat Center and each has a voice. Gate 56 articulates experiences as stories while Gate 62 turns our thoughts into logical steps. This is a time to watch how these Gates operate in our life, not so much to expect results in these areas.
Venus explores feelings
Venus is in Gates of the Emotional Center all month, except from Jan 14-19, when it stands in 63, Doubt/Enquiry, together with Saturn. These are days when it is possible to keep a cool head – without letting the mind take over – and see what is stirred in the rich world of our feelings.
Rejection angst
Jupiter stays in Gate 35.1 until Jan 27, activating the Channel of Transitoriness with Neptune in 36.6. This position makes it easy to take rejection personally and interpret it as humiliation and failure. Use Jupiter retrograde to step back and see rejection as just another experience of life.
